Vas is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, located about northwest of Venice and about southwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 909 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Vas contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Marziai and Caorera.
